Jayson Swain was at Saturday's scrimmage and sent these three awesome twitters:

Jut left the scrimmage. It is a different feeling in the air around there. I love it.

Former Vols we got to get back andput our arms around our program and these young players. They need us.

Once u bleed orange u always bleed orange.

With Majors recent appearances and the likes of Swain and Al W being around, do you think:
1) We can plan on CLK reaching out to more of our former players?
2) If so, do you think they would accept the invitation?

Hey man you are right. There is just something about being a Vol fan. I've been there since 1963 the first year I was able to play football. I've been there thru the good times (1998) and the bad times (1988-2008) and I'm proud to say I have never been negative and have always been behind my Vols I can't say that for some of the people I see putting posts on this site. I don't care for the guys that think they are guru's and cut down every move the Vols make. Any of you Mr. Negatives are welcome to send me a private message and we can discuss your problem.

Nice.

And to answer your questions, yes to both of those.

having these guys around is great but it's even more exciting to see they're coming around because (1) they're welcomed by a staff that really has no personal relationship with them and (2) they love UT no matter what. We're getting past the cliques that have seemed to exist the past 5-6 years.

Yea I don't know about you, but it makes me sick when one of our guys like Eric Parker says his high school instead of "University of Tennessee" during pregame intros in NFL games. I love how so many of Miami's former players go back to Miami during the offseason. I think that kinda thing goes a long way with fans and players- and potentially recruits.

What is Jayson up to these days? I don't think he is still with the Bears, but could be mistaken.

Maybe now that Swain has joined us, he will be willing to elaborate on his thoughts about former Vols coming back to show support.

Albert Haynesworth has a boat at the Lenoir City Marina and hangs out at Calhoun's do you think since he is so close he visits during the summer?

I understand some of those guys may name their high school because they didn't actually graduate from college...

...just a thought.
