The University of Tennessee was once a great Institution. Renowned for both Academia and Sports. Presidents would consult with our University.

Now, look how far we have fallen. Everyone involved after the turn of the century has part of the blame.

Dipietro, Cheeks, Haslam, Hamilton, Hart, Kiffin, Dooley, Butch...

All of the above and more.

It's time to burn it down... Kick them all out. Get Dickey and whomever is still alive from the people in charge in the 90's to come back and pick alumni to be put in charge to start over.

Look, I'm a double alumni of UTK and bleed orange, but the University's academic standing has not a damned thing to do with how its athletic teams are faring.

You are right, it doesn't. Go check it's academics. Despite what they like to say, we have fallen from where we were in the 80's.

And check the price. We are one of the most expensive, as well.

I've done more than check the price - I've paid it. This is just wrong!

If you don't think that academics are not tied in with the athletics then you are mistaken. The academics definitely have a say with what goes on with the athletics.

The University as a whole is to blame. athletics as well as academics. One may be more to blame but at the end of the day the University as a whole is to blame.

The University as a whole is to blame.

If you don't think the academics is tied together with the athletics then you are mistaken. The academics definitely gets a say in what happens on the athletic side.

One side may be more responsible for where we are currently at, but at the end of the day the University as a whole is to blame.

That link didn't work and you're comparing SEC schools? Get a life.

Does for me. And who should I compared them to, the Siberian all girls Sewing school Athletic league? You get a life. You don't even know how much you pay? You can't figure out numbers or provide data? Good argument for the quality of their education ability.

I know exactly what I paid and I know a loser when I see one even when it's anonymously.

Again, no data, no idea how to look at data, no idea how to form an argument.

Good example of what their educational prowess is now.

You are the loser. And that hurts, doesn't it snowflake?
