I would have to agree with Phil on this one- the sec east was pretty crappy and having two coachs in as many years left us low on talent and depth!
Still we are better going forward with Dooley!

Perhaps he should show the program some more respect then. He could have said, "Yeah, I miss coaching," without trying to take a dump and failing.

We were in ths SEC title game every 3 years, he was just doing some simple math. Dude gets way too much hate, it is beyond me.

Hypocrites I say, gaurantee all of you who slam the man now were on his jock when we won the title in '98.

Can you have it both ways?

The end of his tenure was a joke but you gotta admit that we had some great years too.

Take the good with the bad and move on, I would suggest he do the same, it's over.

he got lucky that year (arkansas and barely beats florida)
i LOVE that TN won it but you give him way too much credit.
he couldnt beat florida and thats the reason i was never really "on his jock" but whatever.

All teams that win national championships get lucky. Auburn got lucky vs. Clemson, Alabama got lucky vs. us last year.

I'm putting this in the Hyams says category. After all Phil is now a COMMENTATOR and not a coach. Commentators say outlandish crap all the time. He's just practicing to get up there with Finebaum.

I admit, i was a huge fulmer fan back then. But why would that prevent someone from being able to slam him now(or in the last 5 years)?

When will all the Fulmer business stop! Everyone saying he needs to let go, WELL YOU DO TOO. We very well could have been in the champ game this year because our roster would have been a little more filled out but who the *heck* knows? Everyone on here needs to get over it just like he does.

It's just a lousy way to be...most fan have a "what have you done for me lately " attitude. I get it, I just don't support that type of thinking.
