On to Ole Miss

Our defense might keep us in the game if we can force "Bad Bo" to turn the ball over. With our OL, we aren't going to be putting TDs on the board against that nasty defense. IMO, the only way we win is a couple of pick sixes or a huge return.

They could always over look us.

Defense keeps us in game till the 3rd quarter then ole miss pulls away. 28-13 Ole Miss

I agree but think about till halftime vols make a mistake or a bad break goes against them and get another score behind and have to play catch up and fall short by 14 or 16 points

They have one of the heaviest O Lines in football. Including the nfl. It's going to be hard.

Even if they do overlook us, their D-Line could sleepwalk past our O-Line and it won't matter. We've been lucky to see the line hold up for 3 seconds on plays so far. Ole Miss is far more talented and physical than any team we've played this season (yes, including Oklahoma).

They are rolling the past two weeks but they have played down to some lesser opponents this year too.

So you think Ole Miss is that much better than UGA?

Yes, especially their defense. We better start praying for Bo Wallace to gift us a few pick sixes or we may not see the end zone. I think our defense will hang tough until they get gassed from being on the field all night.

My gut feeling says this may get very ugly, I am talking about player safety issue. It will be a moral victory if Worley can finish whole 4 quarters in one piece. Ole Miss D will chew our already shell shocked O-line.

I would like to see us work the draw alot more like we did against UGA and the one time today against Chatt. I would also like to see some more rb slip screens. I think we will have a tough frustrating day offensively for the next two weeks.

Ummm...I say we don't even play Hurd, Scott, or Wolf. Save our future stars for the years to come because ole miss will be setting up a spike camp in our backfield. Should we save Worley for the remainder of the east where we can make a bowl game? Our o line looks like a bunch of tackling dummies with their hands on their hips. Why not use the same at QB so Worley is not in a trauma icu next Sunday. Scout team QB maybe? Given he wears double up QB jackets with lineman style shoulder pads...

I think you're right

Wide receivers can't break free against tight coverage.

Hurd and Lane are obviously less than 100%.

Worley gets beat up by UTC.

I'll be kind and not say anything about the O line this time around.

I just don't see an epiphany on the horizon for this offense. They're getting worse.
