On Thompson, Per Austin Price

True but here's the bottom line For LT... he may get shat on by both guys BUT he knows he can atleast win championships at bama... not to mention he's much more likely to get noticed there and he'd rather take the position when he can vs it not being open next year when Dooley is fured.

:lolabove::lolabove::lolabove:

I like how you like to pretend that you know exactly what the bottom line for LT is. I'm sure he loves you putting words in his mouth.

Haha, that is pretty funny you are calling utc a troll. He has brings more to this board in one post then you have brought in your entire time on this board, as evidenced by the fact that atleast 75% of the board has you on ignore.

I disagree.

You should follow their cowardess lead and make it 75.09%.

You boys forget you are asking alot for DD to do the right thing when it comes to coaches.It is still all about him.

If you would read your post again, I believe you would regret such a statement. At least I would hope you would since it is so ridiculous.

why couldn't chaney leave as well????? then all the coaches we wanted gone will be gone

Dooley can ill afford to let Chaney go at this point. Bringing in a new OC with Dooley's job being on the Hotseat could cause him to be dismissed before season's end if the team had a hard time grasping a new concept.

Why is everyone so sure the situation was mishandled I think lt leaving had to be part of the conversations that were had when coach s agreed to take the pos, I think we will be fine imo

Should have seen this move coming. He was passed up 2 times for the DC job by DD.
He was upset with it, he obviously feels he has a better chance for the DC spot in Gump nation in a couple years. No hard feelings let him go, Sal will get someone in here thats just as good coach if not better no worries.

LT knows Smart will be leaving after next season for a HC position. It's all in the chess game. He's positioning himself to get elevated to DC @ Bama. At least he hopes.
