A year after firing Butch Jones, Tennessee feels like they’re getting back on the right track

Best quote (and most accurate IMHO): Tennessee fans, former players and some boosters took back the program on that day (the Shiano revolt). Their efforts just might have steered the program back onto the tracks.

Against my better judgment, I clicked on the link to the article on Greg Schiano's failure as a coach in the NFL. It got me angry that the idiot of an AD we had at the time (Currie) ever thought that he would be a good hire. It made me even angrier to think about how the idiots in the media came to the defense of that fool. Everyone focused on the validity (or not) of the allegations from Penn State, but few acknowledged the fact that Schiano is just a d-bag who has no business being considered for the UT head coaching job. Period.

John Currie, glad you are gone.
Greg Schiano, glad you never came.

Some of y’all have some serious issues with car salesmen. . .
Oh you bet I do. There's one in North Jackson I can tell you all about. He screwed me over on a 1994 GMC Jimmy 15 years and it still gets my hackles up thinking about him. I wish him nothing but IBS, hemorrhoids and carpal tunnel for the rest of his days.

Never missed a VOLS football game from 1968 (via radio or TV or in person) until about this time last season.
I remember it well. My mother making me go to Sunday school At 10:00 and the Doug Dickey show came on at 10:30. No VCRs in those days. Lol it didn’t kill me but it sure made me mad. God rest her soul. ❤️

I wish a lot of posters on here were my prospects. They would've bought any and everything offered to them.

Then bitched 5 years later that it didn't work. LOL!
