I am just as disappointed as anyone that we lost to a team we should have beaten. We can continue to do the would have, should have, could have game....I know I have over and over....but the game is over. We all bleed orange and white and that is why we are so passionate about the Vols....and alittle sick today. BUT, we knew this would be a rebuilding year and it will take time for Kiffin to develop his players and get the recruits he needs at Rocky Top. This season is not lost and I fully look for Kiffin and staff to make it an improved season over last year.....and yes go to a bowl. Maybe I am an optimist but we can do it. Now whether it is with this or that QB who knows....but I have confidence in this staff that they will learn and grow from yesterday. The days of "looking at film and working like heck" are over. Let's show our support for the Vols and stay on the Lane Train for the long haul. We all bleed orange and white....Go Vols!

I know that we lost one that we should have won yesterday. But I am not for saying the season is derailed yet. There is just too much season left. We are rebuilding and a few wins will get us back on track.

i am saying choo choo to theLane train , but this season just got derailed!

Memphis Ohio and???? I know we will win a couple we shouldnt but we will also lose some like yesterday we shouldnt. That streak against KY is getting where its bound to break and they are playing better than us and its at home for them. Sheesh I think somethings coming off the tracks but I still think lane will get it right for the future. Fulmer left him very little

I agree that Fulmer left him little. QB and OL is really showing it. I think we can beat GA and Auburn at home this year.

yes. unless stephens can improve/progress in a way that crompton hasn't, it will be a long year... the odds of lamaison getting in there and contributing are prolly pretty remote, too...

it's incredible how low this program has sunk.. to hear the fulmerites tell it last year, we weren't too far from getting back on track... 1 more year... :eek:lol:

Only time will tell....but I think we will. Ga looks bad on offense (sounds familiar) and their defense won it for them yesterday. Our defense is awesome and I think good enough to pull a few wins we aren't supposed to this year. Next year....we should be much improved. Monte Kiffin is the real deal.

can but will?

I love The Kiffins but crompton's gonna get us beat alot more this year. I can't belive Stephens isn't gonna get a shot.

Rerun. JC is great in practice, just a little shaky in games. Too familiar for me. Perhaps in practice Monte should run Rico, Dennis, Eric, and both DEs full-speed into the offensive backfield on every snap so that CLK and the boys can walk out there and see the terror up close and personal in this guy's eyes.

I've seen enough

As the dust of another terrible performance by JC settles, I am anxious to see how Lane reacts in practice this week for the Fla game.

If we polled the board today, I suspsect we would agree to get Nick in the game at some point.....lets see if Lane agrees, or if he digs his heels in deep and stays the course. How he handles a shakey QB next week will be telling in many ways.

I wonder if Kiffin is thinking "what the heck did I get myself into here"? I doubt it.

Prolly more like "I wonder if these fans will stick with me through 6-7 win seasons in 09 and 10"?
