Colin has really been talking up UT since Butch Jones took over. He's said several times that he believes Tennessee is a "sleeping giant".

Colin picked S Carolina to beat us ONLY because they had got beaten the week before and thought Spurrier would come back with a win. Actually Cowherd is spot on several times I've noticed he is pretty good IMO

Had to go back and look...sc only lost to uga and the big orange. They crushed arky 52-7 the week before playing us

I think Colin is a smart guy who knows and feels confident of what he says most of the time. He's not afraid to acknowledge the pink elephant in the room. If all you have to say is "Colin cowturd is annoying", that speaks more volume about yourself than him.

Cowherd is the man, I wish him and Beadle were still on sportsnation. That show has sucked every since they left.

I like Cowherd, but quit listening to him because of the Kiffen/USC lovefest. I can understand USC, as that's his school and/or favorite team, but just grew tired of the whole Kiffen thing. Same thing with the Pats and Brady when covering the NFL.


I may have to start listening to him again if he's talking up UT.

Your right he said he picked aganist the ol ball coach the previous week and said he wasn't going two weeks in a row aganist SC. But he said that was the only reason I think he knew UT had a real shot at it.

His largest morning drive market (7-10) is LA, which brings big $$ to the show.

CC was quick to jump on the CLK bandwagon and then quick to dump him as the market changed.

CC gets most of his insight from his old pals in Vegas. I give CC credit, he knows the trends.

Kinda unrelated but Colin's "blazing 5" record (picking select nfl games against the spread) this year is 14-32-2. At least in the nfl, his picking percentage is awful.

He was like 70% last year. The league is pretty crazy this year.

Cowheard's not that bad, he just says dumb things from time to time. But here's to hoping that wasn't one of them!
