Probably not. Smart has the UGA job in his sights for when it opens up. He may want him if cdd doesnt do it next yr, but to many would bring up the whole possibility of him leaving for his "dream job" when it opens up. May be a while before it opens up, but not worth it to me at least to take the chance. When Richt leaves is up in the air. If they ever win a NC then he is gone at the top of his game and moving on to his mission work. IMO thats all...

No I don't think Dooley would go to UGA if he is still here and succeeding. He seems to me to be the guy that wants to build his own legacy. He would be pissed if he is doing well here and they don't at least reach out for interest, but thats natural. Just IMO thats all...

I would like to have a Threesome with my wife and her sister.......just saying! That sure as hell does not mean it is going to happen! Nobody on here knows who the hell our new DC is going to be. I and promise you our backup QUARTERBACK does not know who our DEFENSIVE Cord. is going to be!

Many people on other boards speculating Shannon becoming DC and Sunseri LB coach. Can't make sense out of that. Evidently Sal's son Vinnie wanted to be close to his dad because he chose to play for Alabama. Why would Sal leave his son to come here for the same position he has now. Makes more sense for him to be here for DC position. Thoughts?

Trust me, the last thing that the coaching staff is concerned with is the opinion of this message board, whether consensus or not.

The staff is concerned with who is best person is to fill "X" position. 99% of the people on here want a "splash" or a name or someone that is coming off a championship team. That may give us a brief bump in the quality of recruits, but the proof is in the pudding.

If UT can't develop the talent that comes in then what is the benefit of having great recruiters on staff? Look at Boise State as an example, they know how to develop talent.

Bottom line is we need people that can flat coach!

Yes, I'm sure the coach and AD, who are going out of their way to do this hire in complete secrecy are telling all of their 18 and 19 year old players who are very involved on twitter what is happening.

This means nothing.
