I honestly don't know what to believe when it comes to what did or did not happen with RS.

IMO, there was just waaaaaay too much smoke to actually come out and say that the University had no contact with him whatsoever. Whether it was through intermediaries or what-have-you, someone representing UT had to have gotten in contact with someone representing RS.

Hey 2inthedry....you still think Green is still coming to kville? May not be for DC (not that you said it would be) but for another position on the D staff. I still think he would be a great coach on the staff to have.

Yes, Sunseri is ready.

As for his son, I doubt Saban would stand in the way of Vinnie's transfer. I just hope Vinnie would rather stay at Bama than leave with his dad, but I don't know enough about him to be sure.

We can do better than Wilcox...not a huge loss.....linebackers are gonna be beasts with whoever is there, and you don't think we can hire someone who can get more production out of our O-line than Harry? Also we picked up Jay Graham.

It all comes back to the Kentucky game. All the fanbase expected was a modicum of improvement after 2 seasons. Instead he has the program going in reverse. Add his previous record as a losing HC in a mid-major to that. Totally un-good.

Yeah. Because the only reason a coach might leave is that they do not believe in the HC. Couldn't possibly be that they don't like something else... like negative fan/media scrutiny, time devoted to recruiting,....

Not liking the HC or AD is definitely a possibility. HC or AD setting standards they don't want to live up to is another. Being job scared is definitely another.

But jumping to conclusions without knowing... just not smart.

I know that anything that casts a dim light on Dooley has automatic appeal to you.... but I would like to see a credible foundation for your Chik'n Lil routine.

Yes, I do, and that's all I'll say about it.

Green will make an excellent coach! Twelve years of experience as a DC compared to Sunseri's, what 2.

Sunseri may come from another SEC school, but he doesn't have the DC experience, which is what is needed at UT.

Just had comm studies class with Justin Worley. I got to talking with him and I asked him if the next dc was shannon or sunseri. He didn't say much about Shannon, but he said it would be great to have Kirby Smart's defensive scheme here. TIFWIW
