All this is BS... Sunseri hasn't even landed yet. He was scheduled to be in around 3, but the weather has held up his arrival. Will fly back out tonight.

Not a done deal...

All this talk about interview going well and touring campus, now it is being reported he has not arrived.

You were thinking he was going to make a lateral move from AL to Tn? oh and leave his son for the same job?

Not a bad DC candidate at all. Will be pleased if it happens. Now just need to have it in place to sell to recruits on Friday.

He hires like he recruits... Instead of pursuing the big name, he goes after the "who?" ... Why can't he just say f-it, and go after a big name, instead of staying conservative and going after the little names, and people who have done decent somewhere.

And Lance Thompson didn't make a lateral move from the same team, and under the same HC? Not saying that SS isn't being looked at for the DC, but with all that has transpired in the past 2 weeks, wouldn't surprise me if they in fact were offering a fat raise to coach LB's (not just OLB's). He's be promoted from a position coach over Thompson, who comes from the same coaching tree and has a year of experience under Monte Kiffin.

If LT wasn't on the staff, SS would make more sense. But with him here, it means addition by subtraction. Hire one position opening and end up creating another for doing so.

It all comes back to the Kentucky game. All the fanbase expected was a modicum of improvement after 2 seasons. Instead he has the program going in reverse. Add his previous record as a losing HC in a mid-major to that. Totally un-good.

Unless they were phone taps on the athletic dept. I will confirm everything is unconfirmed. Hubbs, Hyams, and the rest are grasping for answers to their listeners because thats all we wanna know.. . Good job by CDD and Hart to keep this quiet. Dooley knows the feeling of being the last guy asked after media reports that Hamilton bumped his head on the coaching carousel. He's a smart guy and we are going in the right direction.

If he's the guy then our recruiting class can be top 10 to top 15. That's not being a Vol homer either.

If we keep our class and land Borque, McCullers, Q. Davis, and some other surprises we'll be fine.

Furthermore, though ostensibly we are 21st, any Vol fan should know that we have three "3*" players who are easily 4* star worthy (Santos, Sentimore, and Taylor)

That is why it is key we have someone in place. We have 18 recruits currently verbally committed. We are in the lead for McCullers, Bourque, and Q. Davis(all 4*s). This could be the jolt we need to finish strong and mabe grab a Kirven to finish recruiting strong.
