And don't tell me to go do research on him so i'll see he's a good hire.

Anyone that I have to do research on, is someone I don't want to hire.

Convince yourself as you seem to be the one that thinks it is him. No one can convince you of anything, especially if you are already predetermined to say it is a bad hire.

Basically, if you walked within 10 feet of Nick Saban at least once since 2000, youre qualified to get a job with UT athletics.

Mike Griffith essentially slanders the guy upon hearing his name mentioned. Its not unrealistic to think Alabama is the present defensive standard. I guess Knox media is taking a live by the sword die by the sword approach. Its too bad. Its not like the media's arrogance has gone unnoticed.

He is an ELITE recruiter being named national recruiter of the year last year. That part is without a doubt an upgrade over JW.

On the field as in any coach that doesn't have a history of success as a coordinator there is some question about what he can accomplish. He has experience in the NFL and successful experience at the highest level of college football. Simply put he has done everything you can ask of him as a position coach and seems to be extremely well thought of throughout the coaching ranks as his name is mentioned for a number of significant jobs. Will he succeed only time will tell but Sunseri has a very high ceiling when evaluating what he can do if given the opportunity. JMO

Sunseri is a significant upgrade as a recruiter IMO over JW. JW more than likely is a better defensive mind than Sunseri but it isn't fair to assume that is certain.

Didn't Dooley say last week this as a chance to improve. Are we really doing that here? Is there any chance he could be hired for a postion coach?

Sunseri makes sense.

Great recruiter, has ties to Hart, is a Saban guy like Dooley and is an SEC guy having been at Bama. Also not really a threat to Dooley.

The guy has a lot of experience. Hopefuly he'll bring another Bama position coach with him if this all pans out.

This. Might be a stretch, but we could use some help. I hated to see Sirmon go as much as Wilcox.
