On Long Field Goals why

do they not put Evan Berry back there. On the 47 yarder he could have fielded and brought out. Their field goal team has about 5 or 6 relatively slow lineman the return would be much easier than regular kickoff.

I could definitely see the advantage to putting Berry back there. I'm not sure he could have fielded that thing cleanly, but if he could...?

My thinking though is, at that point it was pretty clear we couldn't stop them. If we throw that wrinkle at them, Paul J might have had them switch the formation to go for it. That probably would have led to us having to burn a time out because we would have freaked. I think Butch was just relieved they were going to kick it. I know I was.
