On Doeren from NC

I just spoke with some in Raleigh and they say Doeren has been having trouble negotiating his contract, and a big part of this is because he’s wanting raises for his assistants. They don’t think Doeren really wants to leave State especially for the hot bed of the SEC. They point out the loss to USC, the debacle in the bowl game with Miss State. Honesty, they are praying he goes. But believe Yow (State AD) will be foolish enough to give him and assistants a raise. So there is a small amount of hope for us, a glimmer I guess.

Sounds like we just made a bunch of coaches a lot of money by getting them extensions and did NC State a huge favor. Your welcome State

Not Karma just a bad AD.

You guys have one of the most profitable football programs in the NCAA and he's out there making offers to mediocre coaches.

Not smart on the AD's part.
I don't think your fan base will put up with several more years of terrible football.

If the fan base disappears so does the money.

It really won't matter, Currie will just go to the next dumb
a$$ down the list and that guy will probably be worse than Doeren, and the next will be even worse.

Got a feeling IF Doeren's gonna be our next HC then Currie will announce it at 3 or 4 AM while everybody's asleep. No way he does this during the day with the reaction to his potential hiring being as negative as it already is. It's right up Currie's alley too. Spineless.

Either we wake up with Doeren as our HC or we survive another day. Say your prayer's tonight!
