Olympics Coming to Birmingham?

I'd be all for the Olympics in Birmingham. Don't know if they can handle it, but it would be good for the whole area.

there is nothing in birmingham, it's a trashy city. outside of b'ham like homewood, vestavia, hoover, etc are nice, but birmingham is trash. plus it's one of the most violent cities in the united states. you'll see the athletes walking around w/ bullet proof vests and a gun in their hand just to protect themselves from the thugs that live there.
