Congrats to them, but it's still a weird flex for a year they finished 5th in conference vs. the singular year they had Kim they went 20-1 in conference play and knocked off Florida in Gainsville.

Between Troy's program, Arkansas State's past 2 years, and Kim's one year at Marshall, the "gimmick system" has been at or around the top of the mid-major leagues it's played in pretty consistently... the narrative is supposed to be that it doesn't work against great teams, not that it doesn't work against mid-majors.
