Ole' Miss getting screwed.

you know what, I just put two and two together. I doing the dishes and it hits me.

1. Ole miss is one of the best teams in the nation.

2. They are looking like a playoff team early and often.

3. they beat Obama.

4. everyone sees the egg bowl as a deciding game on the season...the hype is legendary. maybe the biggest egg bowl ever.

5. a lot of smart folks... including myself, believe ole miss is better and publicly say so.

6. Ole miss loses their star receiver.

7. They go out and lay a zero on the score board against unranked arky, setting up the betting line against miss st.

8. vegas bets on ole miss and nobody can figure out why.

9. Ole miss destroys miss st. everybody makes money, in a huge gambling state!

I have never said that ole miss should be one of the top four teams in the playoff. But the teams like arky, and Lsu run right at you. I think one or two of the best dl was hurt in one of those, and their best wr was just put out for the season. With that being said, the argument is whether ole miss could beat Oregon. They most certainly could. I think that is a no brainer. Oregon tries to spread you out and hope to break a tackle. Good luck with that vs ole miss. Oregon isn't exactly a ground and pound offense.
Btw. I hate threads that degenerate into just a bunch of name calling, so I'm on to the Mizzou Bama game. Gl with this conversation boys and girls.

If it's not win loses, but HOW you win and lose that matters this year, the only thing holding them back is a bad loss to LSU when LSU's season was on the line.

31-0...To Arkansas..I know Arky is a better team than their record...but damn! That's a killer. We didn't lose that bad to anybody, and we have no depth, injuries and inexperience galore. The bad losses say more about the nature of that team than their wins.

You can't make chicken salad out of chicken ****. Ole Miss lost 3 games, albeit against SEC opponents. They're right where they belong in the standings.

I don't see how that game will show us anything. You've already proven, with inarguable certainty, that a 30-0 loss to a mediocre opponent isn't relevant. I don't see what a loss to an 11-1 conference co-champ could possibly tell us.

We all know that Ole Miss beat Miss St and Bama...therefore they should have been in the sec championship game.

That's how it works, right? :p

You can't just look at who they beat and who they didn't anymore, you have to look at the entire body of work.
