Ole Miss receivers abused UGA's secondary yesterday, and it was a key component of the big win. If Malone, Jennings, and Williams can do the same then we could have a really big day.

Any other keys to the game in your opinions?

Get pressure on Eason. UGA's OL is bad and our DL will be out for blood to avenge Tuttle's injury. Kublanow is going to get destroyed and Eason won't be able to step up into the pocket to avoid pressure from the edges.

It's the Georgia game. Just wait for a critical player to get injured on their team. I just hope the injury isn't for the entire season.

Send pressure and Eason will fold. Dobbs will have another big day passing the ball. Grind the defense until they get tired like we did against FL and open up the playbook.

I think this game comes down to the line of scrimmage once again.

Dline needs to play an A + game. Eason isn't mobile at all. So make him hurt.

But our offense could be a very bad matchup for their defense

I noticed that OM at least through the first half, I did not see much of second half so not sure, but first half OM the most part rushed 3 or 4 and dropped 7 or 8, choosing to make Eason read the coverage rather than pive him 1 on 1 match ups. I will be curious to see how Shoop gameplans for Eason.

Ole Miss is easily the best 2-2 team in the country. Probably better than most 3-1 teams and some undefeated teams. I hope they spoil a few more teams season this year.

I would bet you see a lot of Ole Miss's game plan incorporated next week. Stop the run....pressure Eason. Make him beat us through the air.

it's obvious the voters respect Georgia and Ole Miss. but we are capable of doing the same thing Ole Miss did

Dobbs has to run for the offense to be effective, I think that will be the key all season. Chad Kelley was making NFL throws all over the field, Dobbs will gash them with his legs and that will open up he passing game

Uh....Dobbs can't chuck it like Kelly can. No offense, but I don't see UT being able to take advantage of the secondary the way Ole Miss did. We need to run the ball well and hope we get a few shots like we did against UF.

The Georgia team that played at Ole Miss yesterday, will not be the same team we see this week. Georgia playing AT Ole Miss between 2 eastern division teams (us and Missouri) was their "trap" game, much like Texas A&M will be our "trap" game... I suspect we will be in for a major dog fight, no pun intended.

Our receivers proved they can. And George's defense is not Floridas

We showed yesterday that we can be a good passing team. We've got some talent in the passing game--Malone is emerging for sure, Jennings made a couple of big catches, Wolf is good, and Byrd is going to be good. We should be throwing to Kamara some down the field on wheel routes like the one on which Hurd scored--let him beat a linebacker! We have a potent offense; it just needs more consistency. Our guards need to play better; Jack Jones got beat regularly by florida defensive linemen. And Wiesman wasn't very good at helping the guards in pass protection. They were in Dobbs's face a lot in this game.

Chubb got hurt in the Ole Miss game

Chubb is no dummy. He understands every time he takes the field behind this UGA OL, his stats are diminished these days, his draft stock falls further, and his career may be in jeopardy. He also knows the offense is moving away from him to Eason/McKenzie due to poor OL play. I suspect from here on out the rest of this season, we may see a lot of ankle week to week issues with Chubb selecting where he sees an advantage UGA may have running the football. Would YOU want to run behind Kublanow with Shuttle on the
DL this coming Saturday???

Hope? Wrong thinking my friend. Those plays were designed and executed very well. You kind of make it sound like those great pass plays were lucky. They were not.

Is Dobbs Kelly? No. But nobody can deny that compared to last year, Dobbs ability to hit big passing plays has improved significantly. The OL played much better in the second half against UF and what happened? The offense improved significantly.

Georgias defense is not the UF defense. They dont have that kind of front 7. They are not terrible by any means, but UF is loaded with Sunday players. I do agree with you about running the ball though. We do have to establish the run and we will. UGA struggled to contain our run game last year and they will again. The problem for UGA now is that UT proved that it can pass the ball effectively against a top notch secondary.

Has there been any reports as to what his injury was?

Thought I heard them say during the OM UGA game that Kirby was glad when Eason got blitzed and had 1 on 1 coverage cause he he just had to throw not read the defense. Also noticed that Ole Miss played quite a bit of zone

Dobbs just needs a few seconds of protection to get the ball out. We've got great wide receivers and I don't see UGA being able to stop our offense. The offensive line has confidence now. I think we are just hitting our stride offensively

This one is already over. All we have to do is get off the bus. Yesterday transformed the team. They will play like legit contenders the rest of the way.
