I'm a nine. We are way better than Ole Miss, but we have forgotten that over the past few years because our coaches created chaos in the locker room, lack of team cohesion, bad playcalling, and worst of all, a complete lack of the confidence that it takes to win football games. Our players are good, better than the Rebels, and what we have needed is what we have now: coaching that inspires confidence and executes an excellent game plan with the players we have. It's going to make all the difference and we beat Ole Miss by two scores. Neyland is going to be happy and deafening. Wish I could be there but TV will have to do.

I really hope the Vols pull it out.

I am confident in their ability, just not too sure about being able to hang in there for the whole 4 quarters.

This is going to be a pretty big test. It will be pretty huge if the Vols win.

Folks...Evans is NOT our only RB and our other RB's are pretty good too.

Our QB can also run really well.

We can run sweeps with our really fast WR's.

We also have a pretty good passing game.

Our D is much better than anyone expected.

We still have lots of ways to WIN over Ole Miss and with our 12th man of Vol Nation faithful screaming their lungs out every time Ole Miss has the ball I know they WILL make mistakes and our O will get the ball back to go score again.

I'm at 8 in being confident that in Neyland in all its glory of being checkered and soldout to our rabid Vol Nation fans we ARE going to get this WIN!!!

You became the "author" when my original post got screwed up because I posted the thread by hitting the "post reply" button when I meant to hit the "post poll" button. Then when I posted the original post with no poll, I reported it to admins so they could delete it. Instead, they merged it with the new post I made that actually had a poll, but then this time, as my kids were annoying the hell out of me and I was doing it on mobile, I forgot to include a "6" option and limit it to only one vote, as I have been reminded MULTIPLE times. You were the first post on the merger, so that's why you're the new "author".

Congratulations, and you're welcome. I now wash my hands clean of any responsibility in this thread.

I agree with most of that and I like your confidence. I'm going to change mine to a 6. :D

OM is a healthier, deeper, and a year ahead in their rebuild. They should be favored. Neyland at night with a jacked-up crowd looking for a reason to explode is the X factor. I say it's a 5.

I feel like it’s a 50/50 game. Who’s Defense will step up? Our defense is playing well. 2 or 3 takeaways will be a game changer
