Ole Miss fans are worried.

This game has USCjr part 2 written all over it; maybe a smaller pt spread though. Ole Miss is prone to turning the ball over, and I think we can put it away early if they do. However, the longer this game stays close the less I like it. Their run D has been pretty tough all year; I see us coming out throwing down field early and often. If Crompton can continue to distribute the ball like he has we should come out of Oxford w/ a big win.

I can't get a read on this game. I don't think we are as good as we've been playing and I don't think they are as bad as they've been playing.

It's a toss-up to me.

Exactly how can you not be as good as you are currently playing? Isnt that what "being good" is based on???

Isnt their Run D what everyone has been picking on as not being up to par? I know the Barn and Bama ran all over them.

Actually, looking back, I think you're right. I guess I was just remembering some games where they held teams to 70-80 yrds. They gave up 200 to AL and 175 to AU, not too good. Big day for Hardesty???

Those fans act as if they're already beat. It should be a good game but if everyone is down like that its gonna make it hard for them to win.

Looks like the ole miss team and fans have already quit on this season after that big collapse. This game could get ugly early, since Kiffin will want to run up the score to get some more juice for a better bowl.

I love CLK, he doesn't need any motivation to run the score up on anybody. He wants to score 50 on everybody, and I'm glad :dance2:

Reading some of the posts on that Ole Miss board is really depressing. That is a sad, dejected fan base. They really thought they had something this year. It's a whole board full of 5150's and Posivols.

I wonder if their boards are as infected with two bits and tidal surges...

I can only imagine what that would be like. :eek:lol:

Funny, we haven't seen them around lately :whistling:

How much do we win by if we play defense like we did @ Florida and Alabama and offense like we did @ home against Georgia and Memphis ??...

The only thing that worries me about Ole Miss is the Wild Rebel.....

I think we as a fanbase need to quit thinking about how the team will be, mentally, entering a game now...CLK's teams are a tad bit more energized and focused than the last few years of CPF's teams...

A tab bit, This team has more energy and has been focus more than I have seen in years...

i would rather see ole miss favord by 3 because tennessee has always played better as underdogs ,ut has a history of not playing well as favorites under fulmer wour staff want which fulmer had no control of players he let them be laxed when favord ,but our staff will have them ready

Good point but next time mix in a few periods and complete sentences.

They better be worried and they should be glad they are rotating off after the beat down they will get in Knoxville next year. The talent coach O left them will be winding down by then. Currently Ole Miss is ranked 56th in recruiting behind #55 powerhouse DUKE coached by non other than David Cutcliffe who they fired. They have not one top 100 player commited and no 5 stars with only one 4 star. You don't get to Atlanta on that kind of talent.

Agree. Watching the emotional ebb and flow of this board is ridicuulous. Vols blow out a bad WKU or Memphis team, and everybody is ready to crown them national champions.

I love what our team has become, but Ole Miss is more than capable of getting up and playing a tough game. It will be interesting to see how well Kiffins et al. get the team ready to play. I believe the Vols will play inspired and well. Whether that translates into a big road win remains to be seen.

this time last year we were the laughing stock of the SEC, not even a year later, we are feared...It's Great To Be a Tennessee Vol!

i think this game could go either way, but i like our confidence coming in and our coaches will def have the boys ready to play. i think we win either big or close, but i think we win.

personally i'm stoked about attending my first ever away game with the Vols! i've been to a bowl game, but this will be different and exciting. i just hope we take home the W and all the $ will be well worth it. Go Vols!

This game should be over early----hopefully, Kiffin can get the backups a lot of quality minutes.
