Rebels turn the ball over a lot EVERY game. That obviously isn't good against our ball hawking D. We have a pretty good turnover margin. If they play like they did, though, against Arky, then it should be a tough game. Really up to how Snead plays. I expect us to force at least two turnovers.

 Eric Berry will break that NCAA record this weekend.

Vols by 10-14 pts.....or more...

They are right to be worried---UT beats ole miss like a rented mule! UT 37 OM 19

I think it will be a close, hard-fought game, but I think our coaches, qb and other players have confidence that OM lacks, and I think we just won't be denied in the final outcome. In fact, I haven't bet money on a UT game in years, but I'm tempted to tell a smart-mouth LSU fan co-worker (who blurted the Rebels would win, no question), let's ante up some cash on this one.

Never bet for or against the vols. They're historically notorious for breaking people's hearts and wallets in big games.

Reading some of the posts on that Ole Miss board is really depressing. That is a sad, dejected fan base. They really thought they had something this year. It's a whole board full of 5150's and Posivols.

Speaking of.. Haven't seen them around too much lately. I guess the success of CLK and the team is just too much for them to take. :eek:lol:

I've watched Ol Miss play three games. They are very explosive, but their defense has had a lot of points scored on them. If our defense can hold them the entire 4 quarters, to say 20 pts or less, then we win by 10 points or more. If we, however, have turnovers or allow them some bigs plays, it could go to the wire. I think in the end, we win...but it could go to the wire. Our kicking game concerns me. It puts us at a disadvantage if the game goes to the wire.
Now that is assuming two focused team with neither freaking out. Ol Miss can't be in a good place psychologically. TN is focused like a freight train. If TN starts out strong, they could freak them out and win big. Can't count on that though. I've seen Ol Miss bounce back and score a lot fast, but of course that was against weaker defenses.
Final call. The game goes to the tougher defense. That will be TN. TN 31 OM 20
GO BIG ORANGE!!!:superman::superman:

I like this prediction. I really feel that it will be a 2+ TD game. Anyone with a defense has looked pretty good against Ole Miss, and the way our O has been playing lately, we'll be difficult to stop.

Just think of this....

Ole Miss looked mediocre against Memphis early in the season, when they were playing well. We looked like world beaters.

Not only does Big Orange Tailgating do it right when we're at Neyland, but they take the show on the road as well. Please Vote for Big Orange Tailgating unless you see your buddies on there. Much Appreciated and Go Vols!!

Food City | Tailgater Of The Year Contest

Powers' T!!! My friends. Vote for them!

Oh yeah, McCluster will not be a factor. Snead will give us the game, and Eric Berry the record.

If the fans feel this way, makes you wonder how the ol miss players might feel! We gave "hand".
Little did they know that a blind O can leave a nut for a nutt to live off of for about a year.....then the flakey part settles in....

One of my salespeople gave a follow-up call to a CB on Ole Miss he sold a car to. He asked about how their season was going and how did he feel about the upcoming game. The best response he got was how their "quarterback play sucked."

I can't get a read on this game. I don't think we are as good as we've been playing and I don't think they are as bad as they've been playing.

It's a toss-up to me.

Snead has a problem with interceptions. We have a Super Bowl DC. You do the math.

A very fine adult beverage to drink in the hot sun if you want to lose all brain cells and half of your DNA. :good!:

That last poster was an eye opener to me. They're a 3 point favorite and he's talking about them "upsetting" us? LOL........too funny!

Caught that too. Based on that comment, you would think the Vols were a top 10 team. And the way they have been playing lately--------------------
