From the rebelfaithful.com board -

"I see that we are favored by 3 early on but I'm not sure that our young men have the fire in the belly that will be needed to win this game. I hope that I am proven wrong."

"Agree Cajun, I have a bad feeling about this game. This one has the potential to get ugly fast.

UT - 27

OM - 14"

"I say we drop this one by 10. Just no confidence right now."

"UT 24
OM 14

Thought Snead was back after his performance against Ark. UT is really playing solid ball right now. Interesting to see if they can win a big road game."

"28-17 Tennessee. I just can't see us beating these guys. Think we have a better shot at beating LSU than UT or MState."

"Not gonna predict. I'll tune in to watch, but I'm not confident... at all."

"TO CLOSE TO CALL: This game has a grind it out, overtime feel to it to me. My head says if that is the case, UT is a good candidate to miss a game tying FG late or in OT. My heart says maybe we can make a stop in OT.

What the heck...
Rebels 17
Vols 20"

"I'm afraid our players talking about this will only motivate Tennessee's players to kick our A$$ even worse! But I'm still hoping for the upset! Regardless of what the odds makers say, if we beat UT it is a huge upset and a quality win for Coach Nutt."

If the fans feel this way, makes you wonder how the ol miss players might feel! We gave "hand".

Reading some of the posts on that Ole Miss board is really depressing. That is a sad, dejected fan base. They really thought they had something this year. It's a whole board full of 5150's and Posivols.

well they're stupid for getting that excited about an average qb and a below average SEC coach.

A buddy of mine is an Ole Miss alum and a big fan. We emailed back and forth a bit today, and he's confident. Overly so. Said he thought the Rebs "had it in the bag if they play decent", and that they are "due a breakout game". He also added that we "might be good in a year or two". I promptly predicted us to house them by 30.

We will tear them a new one this year. Why do they think they are so special? Bottom dwellers! Always have been, always will be

I guess you just wanted to match his overconfidence...

I can't get a read on this game. I don't think we are as good as we've been playing and I don't think they are as bad as they've been playing.

It's a toss-up to me.

I predict another epic beating. Our offense is clicking better than I have seen in a long time.

That last poster was an eye opener to me. They're a 3 point favorite and he's talking about them "upsetting" us? LOL........too funny!

I am not worried, but nervous about this game. I'd like to see how would this team handle the pressure on the road. This game is huge for us. If we can get this road win from a quality team and put us in the position to finish strong in the season, I will be thrilled.

How much do we win by if we play defense like we did @ Florida and Alabama and offense like we did @ home against Georgia and Memphis ??...

The only thing that worries me about Ole Miss is the Wild Rebel.....

I think we as a fanbase need to quit thinking about how the team will be, mentally, entering a game now...CLK's teams are a tad bit more energized and focused than the last few years of CPF's teams...
