I guess the Vols do not do any type of zone defense. Might change things up. Give the other team something else to prepare for.

When you get beat points in the paint 50-18, you are not going to win many games.. Three point shots are like electronics. Nice when they work. Take it (drive it in) get a foul and when it at the free throw line.

That's a crazy stat! Tennessee usually gets their share down low. 50-18!! Bad coaching/execution ----something.... And still coulda shoulda.

I guess the Vols do not do any type of zone defense. Might change things up. Give the other team something else to prepare for.

Was kinda thinking the same thing there in the 2nd half...we were getting desperate when even Maschak couldn't keep the dude under control. "Wouldn't a zone work much, much more nicely here?"
Ole Miss wasn't even trying outside shots.

Guess we don't practice zone.

Ole Miss took us to task from about the 15 minute mark until about the 5 minute mark of the second half. At about the 10 minute mark I started speaking to myself out loud as to why Igor Milicic was relegated to the bench, while they're 2 bigs were dominating our one big. Barnes was playing small ball and these guys were eating us up. We had a nice lead at about eight, and they churned all the way through it and took a lead that they never relinquished.
To me the worst problem last night with the fact that Igor was gone for that 10 minutes stretch. Once he came back around the five or six minute mark, order was restored, but not enough for us to regain the lead in the time remaining.

Vols are 1 good offensive player short. Puts too much pressure on defense.

And to think if Millicic had hit that chip shot, we were still in it to win. Road games in the SEC are a different animal.
