Chase Burns gets the win tonight as Reds beat the Mets. He is now 7-1, with an ERA under 2. In 5.1 tonight, he gave up 4 hits and struck out 8. He has definitely moved into their Ace right now. All 5 teams in the NL Central are over 500. But the Cubs have dropped 10 straight. lol. 😂

I think his decision to leave was influenced by friendship for sure, but if the situation with White had been better, I don't think he'd have pulled the trigger. He was caught up in a perfect storm that led him to make this move. Not sure this was what he really wanted.

Me? Imma cheer for the team. The deal with Tony was great while it lasted but I’ll be damned if I’m gonna while away and mourn over a coach. You’re sounding like a Kelliestan… 😉🤙🏼🧡😘

Honestly, I think he'd enjoy it a helluva lot more. A MLB season is a real grind and he's not the most popular guy in San Fran right now. I know he's a big boy and being paid a ton of money plus he's the first to make that jump, but the days and barbs pile up after a while. Don't care who you are, it's going to get into your head to some degree.

Aren't we tired of giving these baby football elites passes for skipping programs?
I know it says "Voluntary workouts" but this dude should have his problems solved by now.
Heupel should sometime go "old school" on this player before it gets where this kid owns Heupel.
