Baseball is such a crazy sport and I love it!
The Vols, who has been an afterthought, are about to take the series from #4 Texas!
My boy, who played lights out last weekend, helped lead his team to a tournament championship and made the all tournament team, came out today and played pretty good in game 1 and absolutely sucked in games 2 and 3!
You’ll never be able to convince me that baseball isn’t the greatest sport on the planet!

As a catcher’s Dad you will learn more as he ages. My son caught. After age 14 you will learn the game inside the game.

He has been catching for about a year and working his @$$ off doing it!
Never had one single “lesson”
Everything has been self taught and/or learned through trial and error.
I can’t even begin to tell you how proud I am of him!
He’s always been one of the bigger, more athletic kids(must take after his real dad?) and has a cannon for an arm, so every coach has tried to make him a pitcher or 3rd baseman.
His middle school coach, who is old school and has done it for 40 years, told me last year, he has natural instincts behind the plate and thinks that is his position.
Turns out, he might’ve been right. 🤷‍♂️
