We recently came back from a trip to New York City. Of course, baseball was involved

Before seeing the Yankees host the Orioles, we went to the site of the old Polo Grounds. These stairs are the only part of the Polo Grounds that remains. The following pictures pretty much speak for themselves, except the last picture is supposedly the approximate location of The Catch by Willie Mays.

Yes, the location of The Catch is around the edge of the playground and the sidewalk. It’s in the middle of apartment buildings. The people that we encountered were very nice in giving us directions to find the spots. There was some construction going on, so many of the normal pathways were blocked.

Dodgers lost Glasnow to lower back “discomfort” at the start of his second inning.

Also noted, Carlos Correa out for the season due to pending surgery for an ankle injury incurred during BP yesterday.
