Just a note for Coach V fans, Chase Burns is scheduled to start for the Reds in their game vs Giants on April 16 at Cincinnati, with a 1240 start time EST. Just an interesting sub-plot to the game. Bet lots of UT fans may attend this game

Chase Burns had another solid outing for the Reds today to complete the sweep of the Rangers on the road. In 2 starts, he now has an ERA under 1. I know it’s early for him, but his stuff has been off the charts in 2 starts. In 11 innings pitched, he’s giving up 6 hits, 1 HR, issued 4 BB, with 11 K‘s.

Allow me to take a moment to praise Freak and this site. I just got a two weekend suspension from the political section of another sports board. Know what I did? In referring to a trans person I decided not to use he or she. So I said this "person"... My crime? I put quotation marks around person. I kid you not. That was the violation.

This was the full message from the MOD explaining the suspension:

If you're using quotes around "person" to describe a trangender person just two days after my PM, you very clearly did not learn a thing. I've had enough of it.

I'm on all sorts of sites. I've never even heard from a MOD on another site, let alone gotten a suspension. Then there's this

Of course it will happen. But why, when you are a star that has already established a starting spot, uproot yourself & go somewhere else to start all over again and to work harder there for playing time. I can't believe its all about the Benjamins. Phillips and Estrella are basketball heroes at UT. I just don't understand the word commitment and being loyal to a school anymore w/today's athletes. We get these #1 or #2 top players in the state or in the nation & then you don't know for how long they will commit to your team. Just like that Edwards girl. She was committed to UT's coach Caldwell for a long time & then she got scared when players started leaving & she jumped too for no reason really. Good Lord. That girl would start at UT all 4 years here.
I guess we all love a winner & not start out somewhere w/a losing attitude.

Every school has lots of players transferring each year in today's world. Rumor in the forum is that Indiana and another Big 10 school are offering $3-4 million, and we are not interested in matching based on injury history and other options.
