It’s about time for the Marlins to mess around and win a World Series, and then have a fire sale with their roster.

I think Danny screwed the pooch. I was all for giving her a chance on the front end, but was kinda satisfied with giving Kellie another year, HS recruiting be damned. She was treading water using the portal.

The new rage? Cease recruiting HS and just pay for high end portal talent. Who knew?

They also seem to think if she fails Danny will be in the line of fire. That will only happen if the football team fails.

I’m regretting the whole not giving Kara Lawson a shot.

No head coaching experience when Kellie was hired. Kind of created a stink about a year later when she decided to speak truth during the rise of “Covid”. It would have been a tough trigger to pull at the time for Fulmer. If we had never cojoined the M/W AD into one position there may have been a chance. Kellie’s interview is said to have blown Phat outta the water. Hard to believe Kara’s didn’t, but not sure if she ever got that chance.

I’m going to drop this little nugget and then I’m out.
Take this with a grade of slaw, but I am an acquaintance with someone who’s husband helps “facilitate” the NIL on the basketball side.
I was told Danny Dimes walked into this guys office the day after the elite 8 loss and said, “what do we have to spend to get Rick Barnes to a final 4?”
If this is true, this could be an eventful off season:
