She was always learning and intellectually curious. Just one of the best leaders on the planet.Wife and I were talking to our daughter this morning and talked about Pat Summit and how her upbringing yielded such a driven woman and it made me think about hoe much we miss her - not just from coaching but how she could impact discussion.
Can you imagine how she might have gotten her point across on protecting women's sports? We lost more than just a great coach but the world lost a great leader with her illness and death.
What was a normal phone call became something much different.

I was fortunate enough to take a class under her and Nancy Darsch. They were both a lot of fun. The whole Title 9 and women’s sports today would have taken both of them over the edge.Wife and I were talking to our daughter this morning and talked about Pat Summit and how her upbringing yielded such a driven woman and it made me think about hoe much we miss her - not just from coaching but how she could impact discussion.
