Titans probably never will win one but at least I’ve come to terms with that unlike Cowboys fans unrealistically thinking their organization is owed another one. All I know is that every team in the conference has made a conference championship since the last time the Cowboys did. It’s the Alabama fans bragging about their Nick Saban years. Ok, but what have you done since NIL? What have the Cowboys done since those 90s teams after their player’s contracts ran out and they had to deal with free agency like everyone else? Once it is an even playing field, you stop winning and the dynasty is over. The same will happen for the Dodgers but it won’t happen until they have won their 10 World Series.

Thanks CW, hard to tell how it went because most of it was tests on paper. They had a lightning round that parents could attend with the top 12 students and he didn’t make it to that. The questions filled whole slides and these kids could answer them before the host even got done reading the question. I could answer very few of these questions. Pretty wild

MLB is different and you know it. Only 2 teams in each league made the postseason in the early 90s and then it only went to 4 teams after the strike. It’s always been easier to make the playoffs in football. In baseball, if you made the playoffs in the 90s you were actually a good team. It took baseball several years later to give in and give everyone a participation trophy to teams that don’t really deserve it. Gotta love getting to whoop up on those 9-7 Packers to open the playoff run.

I don’t even hate them because they have been irrelevant for so long now. I just love trolling their fans because they know it’s been so long too. They just want to live in the past and scream “but we have 5 Super Bowls!” It’s eerily similar to our Vols football fanbase talking about the 90s. Nobody gives a damn anymore. People only care about what you are right now.

Braves have won a title post-Covid then had the best statistical offense of all-time to follow that up so they are semi-relevant. The Cowboys last Conference Championship/Super Bowl appearance is older than Netflix and Google. Pretty wide gap in relevance there…
