I just found out about the brutal lady Vols loss this morning. Kim needs to be shown the door. I said this in the Lady Vols forum and got absolutely blasted but idc, I’m not wrong so I’ll say it again. She is way in over her head and not cut out to coach for a program like Tennessee. I was already skeptical of the hire to begin with but knew she was doomed the moment she announced her pregnancy right after taking the job. Terrible timing to take over the most storied program in women’s basketball and try to start your family at the same time. She does not hold herself or players accountable. We fired Kelly just to hire another Kelly. Danny keeps hiring unproven nice guys and that isn’t going to get us anywhere. Yes, I’m talking about Heupel too. I’m waiting to see what happens this season, but he and Kim share something in common. They’re soft.

I’m glad she called them out. Exactly what I would have done. They are a bunch of quitters. That’s literally the worst thing you can be called as an athlete. Hate on my game all you want but once you call my effort into question, that should strike a nerve. We will find out next game if these players have any “want to” or if they only care about the paycheck.

I still think Coach Kim is a good coach. I just think it’s harder to get a motivated team playing together nowadays. Winning as a coach in today’s sports should be appreciated even more so than before. I know I would never wish coaching in this environment on anyone so anyone brave enough to attempt it should be commended.
