And as some on here are already viewing the Olympics might interfere too. Hope it's the lowest watch SB ever. I never missed watching one and became a big fan living in Chicago during the Bears run, but when players started disrespecting the flag and national anthem I lost respect for their game. Pure college fan now.

I definitely won’t be watching the halftime show. I probably won’t even watch the entire game (has nothing to do with the halftime show). As I have gotten older I have become less and less interested in sports. I used to never miss a Tennessee football or basketball game, never missed a Braves game, never missed a Titans game, watched all the Lakers games available. Nowadays I miss more games than I watch even though they are more readily available than ever. Never thought I would be at this point but it is what it is. Just don’t have the same passion for it as I once did. Sports were my first love but I feel like it’s a marriage in the process of becoming stale

Now you know why I roll my eyes or sigh at somethings posted here by others.
Its not that I don't care or like a certain sport(s) its that I've moved on & seem
to have already seen them all before. A player going here or there ... okay.

I don’t even care about the anthem deal. If people what to be contrarians and draw attention to themselves then whatever floats your boat. People get so sensitive about other people’s actions and I find it amusing. That’s why I despise politics in general. Everyone is so insecure about their size so they have to say and do stuff to make themselves feel better about themselves. I’m just speaking about the games themselves at any level just don’t do it for me like they used to.

People get so sensitive about other people’s actions and I find it amusing. That’s why I despise politics in general. I don't disagree that they have right. I did watch a bit of the Bears in the playoff and it just did not win me back either.

I get that, and i am comfortable stating i believe we are closely aligned in our leanings. The problem i saw earlier this morning that set me off was the rebuttal in the thread, the reason I rarely engage in the discourse at the PF. I generally have a short leash for idgits. Mea culpa.
