It was. I had been a vegetarian for about 10 years. Husband’s Texas family took me there when we first met. Needless to say, Im no longer a vegetarian….

I love the salt lick and all, but I think the county line is right up there with it. We were in San Antonio over the summer and had to get me a big daddy rib platter, and the bread! Some people think that saying those two are comparable is heresy though.

Big Daddy Rib platter must have been fantastic. You still remember it.
I'd be close to 300 lbs if I was anywhere close to one of those places.

Is that just your plate & nobody else's? I have a BBQ shack that's
located 2 miles from my house & I know their ribs sell for $16 +
for a daily lunch. They might be higher now since I haven't had one
in a long time. That price is just for a "half" rib to go take home.

Ive eaten there also. My husband would totally agree with you. He thinks beef ribs are best at County Line and Salt Lick wins for their brisket.
