Thats very true, I really wasn’t a healthy vegetarian. I eat meat now, mainly seafood but nothing beats a good juicy steak and the smell of bacon! It’s not healthier. Well-balanced diets are the best option. Being a vegetarian, you run the risk of becoming deficient in core nutrients needed to live.
Honestly you can eat most of it as long as you eat within moderation. Things change if you ever become diabetic or something like that but for the most part, the vast majority of freshly made foods won’t do much to you if you resist gluttonous behaviors.Thats very true, I really wasn’t a healthy vegetarian. You also have to factor in sleep schedules, abstinence or very little use of alcohol/smoking, stress levels, etc. There are a lot more things than diet that factor into your longevity. I remember reading an article about a lady that was roughly 10 years ago and she was well over 100 years old but ate bacon daily. Personally, I would strongly discourage anyone being a lifelong vegetarian, and instead focus on a diverse diet, and cut out the junk foods if you really want to tip the scales in your favor. But that’s just my opinionMy g’ma made 104 on a vegetarian diet. I’d have to recommend it.
