I will add this, if Ant-man’s Cape Cod bat translates to this season, Elander is going to have a hard time keeping him out of the lineup.

Absolutely. Ariel has grown up a lot and that has certainly helped his standing with coaches and in the clubhouse. Staying healthy enabled him to show what he is capable of at the plate.

@Freak, thanks for the fantastic evening with the family. You having spent all day out in the cold to make all those preparations just for us was really more than we should have expected, but it is exactly what we have come to know from your gracious hospitality.

We even appreciate that you have streamlined the security coming through the gates of your compound, allowing us "priority visitor" status.

As always, an afternoon and evening spent with you and yours was full of adventure, laughter and lots of good food and drink. I fell sorry for the sorry schlubs who have not yet had the pleasure of your gatherings of friends.

Oh, I forgot to tell you, someone on the board was pissing and moaning about you not hanging around the Dugout as much as you should. Consider the message delivered, albeit not when we were together. Don't know what that lunatic was talking about. There is always somebody, right?

My wife refuses to eat Waffle House with me.
Many years ago, we were on a late night movie date and went to Waffle House afterward.
The old, dirty, sweaty cook was leaning over the grill, cooking our food and sweat was dripping off his forehead, sizzling on the grill!
