I'm in Cosby with my mother... If power goes out I can fire up the fireplace for her.. nothing yet and it's still 30+ degrees here...

Me to but it’s not looking good. They said the temps are not going to be as high as they first predicted. So that means sleet and freezing rain.

I have a ton of trees around me, that I do not want to stress over.

I just looked outside & I can't see my driveway
if I had to back down & go somewhere. We have
that smoky hazy look right now w/wind blowing.
I pity those out going to the grocery store hoping
to find something they want but only an empty shelf.

One of my favorites, along with ‘95.

Not to have recency bias, but 2021 was probably my favorite. Lost our MVP to an ACL injury right before the all star break and I thought our season was over. Ended up winning a very weak NL East by 6.5 games with only 88 wins overall. Had a rag tag group of guys thrown together at the trade deadline and caught lightning in a bottle. I cried tears of joy after that final out. I always told myself we would end up winning it all whenever I am least expecting it and that was so true that season.

Is that area still a speed trap? I got burned there ten years or so ago

We have cameras up on poles. outside of Jackson, w/a sign saying speed radar w/camera. I was thinking after a while those are fake only for you to slow down until I got a speeding ticket in the mail a couple of years back. I started creeping by those after that little dumb mistake.

I hurt my back several years ago. Dr. gave muscle relaxers and pain killers (OxyContin). I slept like a baby. Man that was nice.

I have not seen any. I did hear about one on Hwy. 60 near the Gays Port bridge. There used to be a flashing light at the intersection.

Its not doing a damn thing right now but getting colder.
I guess we're waiting on the 2nd wave to hit anytime.
