We have a neighbor that has one, as well as a blowup of Ralphie dressed as the bunny rabbit. They also have about a dozen other Christmas blowups.

I wrote a thriller called “Hook, Line, and Sinker”. It’s about a downtrodden executive that’s lost everything after her company goes under due to tax fraud. She turns to selling herself out on Main Street into the late hours of the night. But she’s used to making more money and living the luxury life so she starts using lines of cocaine to entice her clientele into extra time with her and stealing all of their money. Until one day, she comes across a serial killer, unbeknownst to her. He laces a drug to knock her unconscious and then she wakes up inside of a sinking car with water coming on fast. She manages to miraculously escape eventually and spends the rest of the book hunting her attempted killer as she only has his description to go on and doesn’t know his real name. Turns out, the serial killer worked for the IRS and was the one responsible for her company being destroyed as he forged accounting numbers. She finally remembered something he said during their interaction and it clicks, she went to high school with him and he was obsessed with her but she never gave him the light of day but she remembered him saying that same line in passing through the hallways. She’s finally able to track him down and lure him in with one of her Lady of the Night friends as bait. They get him unconscious and sink him in that same lake. She’s able to prove everything with the IRS was a hoax and her attempted killer was responsible for it all. She gets her job back starting back up the same company and thinks she is about to live happily ever after until she sees on the news the car being lifted out of the water with no body inside.

I’m working on Part 2 right now.
