Knecht is in the G League because JJ Redick is a dumbass cradling LeBron’s boys smiling. If they were in prison, JJ would be holding onto LeBron’s pocket as they walked through the yard. He calls LeBron the “GOAT”, even before he got the job. That should tell you all you need to know. Worst damn hire they could have made for head coach.

Reddick doesn't make the calls on who goes down to G-League by himself. Executives also have a say...

Chambliss is seeking an additional year of eligibility just like Aguilar. Chambliss seems to think he will hear a ruling within the next week. So I guess it’s possible we hear news about everyone’s eligibility very soon 🤷‍♂️

The multiple “DNP-Coach’s Decision” is Redick’s input and tells you what he thinks. It’s the same as a MLB manager not playing someone and telling upper management to send said player down to the minors.

How about checking on status of Grant Williams occasionally or Keon Johnson or maybe Jaden Springer... What about Mashack or Lanier which by the way done a stint in G- League recently...how come the obsession with Knecht? You his agent?

Because Knecht is the most NBA-ready player we’ve had since Tobias Harris. Anyone that watched his lone year at Tennessee knows he should be getting at least 6th man minutes. His game translates perfectly to the league but JJ doesn’t want to give him real opportunities.

Grant is undersized, Keon and Springer should have stayed and developed under Barnes. Now they have bounced all over the place. Mashack is always going to be an uphill battle due to his offensive deficiencies. Lanier is really the only other one that has the potential to become a reliable NBA player but he isn’t on Knecht’s level imo.

100% agree with Rece on this. Mendoza didn’t really have superior stats but he seems like a good guy that was raised the right way. Pavia was raised by a stripper nurse and it shows.

On a side note, nobody was really Heisman worthy imo. If we have a year like this where nobody stands out and lives up to the standard then they shouldn’t even give the award to someone. Just have it listed as “vacant due to underperformance”
