I was Team Earnhardt.

I was a Gordon fan. Co-workers were all Dale fans & I never cared for car #3.
So, just to piss them off, I choose Gordon to cheer for. Win some lose some.
I noticed how Gordon would never back down from the other older drivers.
I was impressed by that. Before Gordon, I was a big Darrell Waltrip fan B4 retiting.

Great Driver but I disliked Dale Earnhardt... Dirty driver but people loved him but when Tony Stewart did the same antics Dale did, he was the Villain...

I always respected Stewart’s ability to drive every type of race car. That incident with Kevin Ward was unfortunate as a life was lost but there was plenty of blame to go around on that.
