In person, the 2016 Oklahoma football game. The Music City Bowl where we lost after UNC had a penalty on their last drive but benefitted because there was no 10-second runoff. The SEC basketball tournament where Maymon was double T’d up against Florida. Vols Baseball getting called for a “runner’s interference” on a play that would have ended the game against Alabama in the SECT.

On television or through the news, there are countless.

Braves blowing a 2-0 World Series lead to the Yankees coming back to Atlanta.

Titans Super Bowl ending.

Vols football losing the 2001 SEC Championship with a trip to the National Championship on the line.

The Mount Cody Game.

4th and 26 game against Florida.

Hail Mary game against Florida.

Devastating is a bit strong of a word, but the 2021 Titans season ending the way it did in the playoffs is probably the worst. Sacked Joe Burrow 9 times, but because Ryan Tannehill threw 3 interceptions, including at the end of the game to allow the Bengals to easily get in FG range, they lost.

Said going in to the playoffs the only team I was a bit concerned about was Cinci. Titans had already boat raced both the Chiefs and Rams that season. Pretty sure they'd have won the super bowl with how dominantly the defense was playing if Tannehill had just managed to be average during the playoff run.

That was a fun team. It’s hard to believe everything that’s gone wrong since that point as well.

It’s weird that so many of us hate the Giants. You being a Dodgers fan it’s justified. But the one team nobody likes, our beloved ex 💔 left for. Is there a clip, or is it too painful to post?
