No reason they should have lost that game. Piss poor coaching and execution in the 2nd half. I guess men’s basketball and baseball are my only hope for sports happiness this coming year.

If a single bad game kills any chance of happiness, not sure any sport is the one for you, but especially not basketball and baseball. Can pretty much guarantee both of those teams will come out and get smacked in a game, if not multiple. Such is sports sometimes unfortunately.

Do it. Every loss should be $100k in NIL back to the baseball program. People can say these are still kids all they want but if they are accepting payment that makes them a professional in my book. We get judged for how well (or not well) we do in the real world in our careers so it should be the same way for them. We need to get back to rewarding success, not mediocrity.
