I have, although I’m not as big of a fan of banh mi as many seem to be. I think it’s kinda mid. We went to a famous street place in Vietnam and even there it was just fine. I’m much more into other Vietnamese dishes. There’s a dish called Bo Luc lac (shaken beef) that I used to always get. Then there’s a bunch of lemon dishes and of course pho.

Thanks I saw someone do a review of a place down here. I was on the fence. But I may have to try that Bo Luc Luc.

Sounds good, if you order Bo Luc lac and they give you a container with pepper/sugar with a lime, you’re supposed to squeeze the lime into the pepper/sugar and then dip the meat into that.

Its going to be loud this year I would think. Jackson has legalized the use of fireworks in the city now after decades & decades of no fireworks allowed in the city. Now, we have 1000s of tents set up on every street corner it seems like in Jackson. Up to 50% to 70% off trying to sale every little firecracker under their tents. I hope to get some sleep Friday night into Saturday morning. Problem is, we have a bunch of crazy yahoos that live in this neighborhood who love shooting off fireworks until dawn. They have no parents who care.
