That's a tough one to predict now a days. Batters strike out a TON more often than back in Nolan's days but at the same time pitchers lasting long enough to break it is extremely rare.

Complete games are definitely a thing of the past.

MLB tonight crew kicking around the idea of Braves trading Acuna Jr. to get a big haul of young talent to rebuild with. His contract could draw many teams to wheel and deal..

Whenever he comes asking for a raise they will definitely do it. If guys like Tatis and Soto are getting crazy contracts then imagine what one of the top 3 position players in the game will command. He also has a MVP which neither of those guys have. His contract has two club options in 2027 and 2028. I fully expect the team to pick up those options and for him to be traded after the 2027 season. He will have just turned 30 right before the 2028 season so every contender in the league will be lining up for him.
