Agreed. Not sure we ever see a 300-game winner again either given the way pitching has changed. Closest active, I think, is Verlander. And at 42, I doubt he reaches the milestone. Pitching has become so specialized, you rarely see the "work horses" anymore.
There is so much inefficient pitching being focused on nowadays. Everyone goes for the strikeouts so instead of actually pitching to contact, getting ground balls and finishing games in the 100-110 pitch range they are tapping out in that range in the 6th or at best 7th inning. Chasing strikeouts will always increase that pitch count. But it also increases your salary as a pitcher so they are going to continue doing it.

Huh. I don't think of myself as eating a lot of fast food, but whether from a lot of driving or just living this many years...
I've eaten at all but 3. AND one of those three is Chipotle--which I pass by nearly every day.

I'd try it, but only if it won me recognition and esteem from my VolNation peers.
