OldTimer’s Dugout - Off Topic Thread

was catching BP in LL and had np idea how importabt a cup was. You can guess what happened;

I often wish I had the nerve to punch the face of a teammate';s dad who delighted in my distress. My younger brother was a natural at that position. He had all the goods to play ball after graduating HS.

🤣🤣🤣 I laughed way to hard at this.

Wifey didn't like "Barb," was disappointed, and thought it a missed opportunity. I thought it was basically a nothingburger. There were a few little details that I was interested in. The saturated colors, for example. For some reason, I kept thinking about "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" (1964) while watching "Babs." Not with respect to the plot, but the "look and feel." One day I'll rewatch "Umbrellas."

We both loved "Oppenheimer" and even went to see it second time. Not the last time I will see it.
Cillian Murphy is a very good actor. Also very underrated. A lot of the projects he is involved with turn out to be great.

LMAO ... Matt Dillon walks into the Long Branch & some loud mouth young punk cowboy starts picking a verbal fight w/him. Tells Matt to draw. Dillon says don't be a fool. Dude goes for his gun & Dillon shoots him dead. Then walks up to the bar & tells Sam "Give me a beer". I use to watch these shows when I was 7 years old and my parents let me.. 🤣

Random thought: I’ve always thought it was odd the NBA Draft and NHL Draft were stacked right on top of each other. You would think they would get together and at least make them one week apart.

I have random thoughts of the beautiful women in this world I'll never see or talk to.
