There was another Auburn rain game, I attended it with my dad.

It was a monsoon in the second half.

Modelo is the fastest growing beer in the country, it’s insane.
And it continues to gain market share.
Negra Modelo with a slice of lime is a darned good beer.

Side note: history is endlessly interesting. Born in Vienna, Ferdinand Maximilian Josef Maria von Habsberg-Lothringen was, briefly, the emperor of Mexico. Austrian and German immigration had a fair amount of influence on Mexican beer making, and Negra Modelo is a Vienna lager.

I like my beer opaque 😂 if light can get through it, it’s not dark enough. Give me a stout or a porter. And no IPAs. Everyone in the world is obligated any more to make grapefruit flavored beer.
I stop at amber. Shiner Bock, Yuengling, and Bass are a few of my favorite. Pacifico is pretty good also.
Agreed IPA is too hoppy for my taste.

As dark as used motor oil; puts hair on your chest.

IPAs aren’t my thing either. A brewer told me they love them because they’re quicker (and therefore cheaper) to make. I’ve seen a triple IPA.

Talked to a fella that used to own a microbrewery.....the reason microbreweries make so many IPAs is they can up the alcohol content and it hides all the imperfections. This came on the heels of me wanting him to make a lager like a miller or a budweiser....something not hoppy. But, the micros would basically need to hire a chemical engineer for that. The reason India Pale Ales were made in the first place is when the brits would send brews to India, it would become rancid the time it got to India.....so, the brewers developed IPAs.
