I make an occasional reference to the Astros’ early Luhnow years when most of their fandom was focused on their farm system. Here is a current article from one of my favorite authors from that era. If you can manage to wander through the numbers there is a lot of insight into how analytics works when applied to beisbol, power numbers specifically.
