Yes indeed! I’m joking because we always seem to pick an offensive skill position when we desperately need pass rush

Not many defensive players taken so far, we better not screw it up!

He'd day he's doing okay, I say he's doing great.

He doesn't remember his heart stopping in the hospital.. I saw it happen and the ER people bring him back to life. So to me, that's the starting point. The fact that he can go up two flights of stairs without stopping is incredible. For a while I'd take him up to the door of the building where his/our classes were and then park my scooter somewhere else.

Perspective: His hemoglobin was 2% of a normal person's the day he was admitted to the ER. Two weeks ago it was up to 17% and is at 22% currently. It's pretty amazing to me that he can do what he does with so little hemoglobin in his body.

He's really mad or frustrated that total recovery is months away. My other roommates and I try to point out that he could be dead or that he could have had a stroke etc, but that's not very comforting to him because he just wants to be healthy NOW and enjoy the Summer and Fall like he has in the past.

I could go on and on with the mental and physical issues he's dealing with.

We help him any way we can and the two biggest ways are to make sure he eats an iron rich diet every day and physical therapy to rebuild his leg muscles and doing light cardio with him like walking or swimming.

For the next several months he needs blood drawn every two weeks to check his red blood cell count. We record his blood oxygen at home twice a day and it's usually 98-100%.

Also, he doesn't have to stop because he's winded, he has to stop because his legs cramp up or the fatigue is so high that he can't move his legs.

Finally, we're all pretty pumped up for the semester to be over with. Today was our first day of final exams. My last final will be on the 29th.
