Worse we've had in a couple of years. Gave Phillips hell only give up 2 unearned runs. Need better coaches the whole 9 yards

Coupled with 10 stolen bases and 2 errors that directly caused 2 runs to score. That’s the Achilles heel of this team and whenever the offense doesn’t cover up those flaws it can look ugly.

Yes but some act like we haven't giving up stolen bases every year ...you know how FA is worry about the hitter at the plate....

E6 Marin just missed a bounce.

E2 throwing a steal try at third which allow him to score.

E3 went down as a hit when we slipped our footing on an easy bouncer from the leadoff hitter.

We’ve seen WAY better pitchers. There are just some teams that always scrap with us. Kentucky is just one of those teams. We’ve not swung at several strike 3’s and also check swung into weak groundouts a few times. Guys look like they are guessing (and guessing wrong). Just a poor hitting night unfortunately.

Tonight, he’s just that good. Missed some opportunities early with runners on to apply some pressure. He’s locked it down since.

More times than not I agree with that philosophy but what’s the point in putting in a lefty if he isn’t going to throw over and keep them honest? Marcus could have saved some bullpen pitches and allowed that double steal if Loy was going to allow that. The whole point in having lefties is to cut down on stolen bases.

Marcus is fine. Fielding failed him tonight. It’s hard enough to try and get 27 outs as a team and whenever you gift the opponent extra outs it makes it that much harder.
