Engel should be (maybe it is) a national historic monument. Insane amounts of baseball lore created in those confines and a few great personal memories created there as a teenager.

I think it is listed in the national registry for historical places. I was fortunate enough to get to play some games there in high school. Some places you can feel the presence of the all-time greats whenever you are there, and Engel Stadium is one of them.
